Here is a lttle exercise for you:
Go to Google and search for 'online power shopping mall world'. Hit "Submit".
You will find the press release for one of my websites on the first page in the number 2 position, "above the fold".
At the top of thousands of listings for those search terms.
Repeat this test using Yahoo.
Repeat using MSN.
