Tip # 1: Boost Your Network Marketing Lead Generation

If you're serious about taking your lead generation to the next level you are going to have to focus on what works to generate more leads, and make more contacts.  

Generating good, quality leads will teach you the strategies you must learn in order to become successful as a network marketing business owner.  Why do you think this is?  Because leads prove your value to your marketplace.

If you are targeting a specific niche you will know you're having an affect within that market when your lead geenration activities begin producing a good number of high quality, targeted leads looking for exactly what you're offering.  For the scope of this page we're going to really focus on using social networking to begin producing your leads.

Social networking, as the name suggests is networking done online.  If you've heard of Myspace.com or youtube.com you understand the basic idea of what social networking is.  But if you're not spending a good deal of time on those sites, it's hard to see the value of setting up a profile and networking in a virtual environment.  But the value is there.  Youtube spent most of 2007 outranking Google for the amount of traffic it was receiving, that in and of itself should convince you of the power of social networking.

For the new network marketer social networking can boost your business to superstar status if you discover how to do it the right way.  It's really simple when you keep in mind that being social is a matter of treating people with the golden rule.  That is treating others how you'd like to be treated.  Many new marketers barge into social marketing with a large sledgehammer, hoping to "sell" everyone on their great new program.  It doesn't work that way.

The best approach to social networking and marketing is what I call the feather-duster approach.  You want to go around tickling people for a while, let others know who you are, what you're all about first.  Get them to know you like you and trust you first, get them coming to your pages to add content, give away a free report, a free consultation, something of value, that other people can use and your business will begin to grow faster than you can really imagine.  

Alway keep your professionalism at the top of your game.  I see so many so-called marketers out there with questionable content on their sites, it just makes you look like a scrub when you're not representing yourself well online.  Be yourself, be cool, and people will flock to you like metal shavings to a magnet.  

Content is the key to all you organic search engine traffic online.  It's that simple.  If you're wanting to dominate the search engines like Google I recommend fnding an undervalued keyword using one of the keyword research tools online, and then building your lead generation campaign around one singular keyword.  Once you've begun genrating a high flow of prospects, and are making a decent profit you can begin your next campain and so on.

This is how the big boys of network marketing do it.  It's called scaleability and it's your future if you want to build a network marketing business the right way.
