Over several years of working with children and families as Child Protection Social Workers, Keith and I saw some troubling trends. It seemed that behaviour problems and chronic illness in children was increasing. ADHD, Autism, Allergies, Asthma, seemed to be on the rise in the population we were working with. We would attend case conferences with parents and other professionals and try to implement strategies to deal with behaviours, but rarely if ever was the cause ever discussed or addressed. This became a major source of frustration for us so we began to conduct our own research. We learned some disturbing facts. We began to question if our polluted environment could be responsible for the increase in these issues.

When our own son began to develop symptoms of asthma, at an early age, we decided to move. The move didn't help however, and his symptoms increased as he grew. It was apparent that he had developed allergies, although the specific allergens were a mystery to us. Traditional doctors were of little help. We tried to eliminate common sources. We replaced carpets in our home with wood floors. We searched the internet for natural cleaners and laundry detergents. We converted our home to "all natural", with minimal success in alleviating our son's symptoms. At about the age of 3 years, our son began to exhibit some unusual behaviours. We quietly suspected Asperger's Syndrome, having had some experience with children afflicted with the spectrum disorder. He started to demonstrate a very obsessive compulsive nature, unusual fears, and a very negative reaction to any routine changes. At about the age of 3 or 4, he completely eliminated fruit and vegetables from his diet. Meeting his nutritional needs has been a challenge, to say the least.

Kory has been my inspiration in network marketing. In efforts to find some real solutions for him, I began a journey that has taken my life in a completely new direction. I have discovered my passion for marketing on the internet. This is a picture of Kory taking his asthma medication about a year ago. How we hated to give that to him! We were so concerned about the long term effects of inhaling these medications, but when your child is gasping for air - THAT is the only priority. I am happy to report that he is no longer in need of his puffers!

In terms of marketing our business, we followed the advice and direction of our upline and saw some limited success, but we weren't having any fun. We were buying opp seeker leads and plugging them into an autoresponder, then cold calling them. It wasn't what I had envisioned an internet marketing business to be. We've been very happy with the EcoQuest product line, but we just weren't having any fun.

Then, I was introduced to Veretekk , and there's been no turning back! Under the guidance of some of the top earners in the industry, through online interactive training, in state-of-the-art VOIP conference rooms, I learned the art and science of internet marketing. I devoured the information. I stopped buying leads, and starting learning. I learned to create websites, how to optimize them for search engines, how to create auto-responder messages and best of all, how to generate my own business leads. It was through Veretekk , I met my mentor Mr. Jim Gras. Jim is a graduate of Mentors In Motion, the only live seminar series of it's kind, teaching the art and science of Marketing. Now, my education was about to expand.

As I mentioned, Kory had eliminated fruit and vegetables from his diet, and we had spent hundreds, perhaps thousands, on various supplements and super juices, that he would not consume. I was pleased to learn that I could request a sample... I did not want to spend any more money on products he wouldn't take. I requested the sample.
